Awards
This year, the United States-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce awarded H.E.Anar Karimov, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the USACC's 2022 Leadership Award for his outstanding role in promoting cultural linkages between the United States and Azerbaijan.
The award was presented to the First Lady for her tireless work in promoting Azerbaijani culture around the world and her commitment to the education, health and social development of the people of Azerbaijan.
2002 Outstanding Leadership Award was presented to: The Honorable Richard Lee Armitage, Deputy Secretary of State, U.S. Department of State. For his outstanding leadership as Co-Chairman of the USACC adn for his exemplary service adn achievements as U.S. Deputy Secretary of State in strenghtening relationships between America and Azerbaijan.
The 2000 Certificate of Appreciation was presented to Mr. Farhad Azima, Chairman Aviation Leasing Group and USACC Director. The award was presented to Mr. Azima in appreciation of his years of service in the improvement of relations between the U.S. and Azerbaijan.
2000 Outstanding Leadership Award was presented to: Mr. K. Terry Koonce, President, ExxonMobil Production Company, and USACC Co-Chairman in 1999/2000.
The 2015 certificate of appreciation was presented to: Mr. Shahin Mustafayev, Minister of Economy and Industry of Republic of Azerbaijan. The award was presented to Mr. Mustafayev for generous support, commitment and lasting friendship to the USACC.
